of Ordinances]
Except at street crossings and at duly approved
private driveways, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive or
propel any cart, truck, automobile or other vehicle over any sidewalk
or curb in the village without first obtaining a permit therefor from
the Clerk.

At the time the permit is issued, a deposit
shall be made in an amount as adopted by resolution of the Board of
Trustees to cover repairs to the sidewalk.
