[Adopted 2-2-1993 by Doc. 19-B (Ch. 137, Art. VII, of the 1980 Code)]
No person shall own or keep any dog or dogs
within the City of Haverhill unless any such dog or dogs has received
vaccination for rabies in a manner required by the Animal Control
Officer(s) and Health Agent for the City of Haverhill.
A.
Notwithstanding the provisions of § 137-16, whoever violates this article shall be subject to a fine of $100 for the first offense, $200 for the second offense and $300 for each subsequent offense.
B.
In addition, whoever is found to have violated this
article on three or more occasions shall be subject to immediate impoundment
of any such dog or dogs and forfeiture of any such dog's or dogs'
license.
