There is hereby established the position of City Historian, such position
to be nonsalaried and to be filled by appointment by the Mayor for a period
of three years. The City Historian shall render such assistance to persons
seeking historical information about the City of Long Branch as he shall be
able to provide and shall advise city officials on projects and programs which
in his judgment foster interest in the historical background of the City of
Long Branch.
