All policies, ordinances or resolutions that
conflict with the provisions of this policy are hereby repealed.
If any provision of this policy or any rule,
regulation or order of the application of such provision to any person
or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of this policy and
the application of such remaining provisions of this policy of such
rules, regulations or order to persons or circumstances other than
those held invalid will not be affected thereby.
An employee violating any of the provisions
of this policy shall be subject to suspension and/or dismissal, in
addition to any civil or criminal penalty which may be imposed for
the violation of the same.
This policy shall become effective when approved
by Town Council and appropriate employee labor agreement, if applicable.
