A. 
The regulations, restrictions, boundaries and provisions of this chapter may from time to time be amended, supplemented, changed, modified and repealed.
B. 
Any amendment that changes the zoning district or classification of land to any district or classification as set forth in Articles VI through XIX of this chapter shall become null and void and the property shall revert back to its previous zoning district or classification if final site plan approval has not been obtained within one year from the date of said amendment approval. If the property did not have a previous zoning district or classification under the Georgetown Zoning Ordinance, said property shall revert to a UR-3 Zoning District classification. Two one-year extensions may be granted by the Council for good cause.

No such amendment, supplement or change shall become effective until after a public hearing in relation thereto, at which parties and interested citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
