As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
MAIN
The transmission and distribution pipe lines and appurtenances
owned by the Borough and located in a public street or right-of-way.
SERVICE LINE
The line from the Borough main to the curb or to the limit
of the right-of-way, and including the curb stop or valve at the end
of such line.
WATER UTILITY MAINS IN PRIVATE PROPERTY
Privately constructed water mains and services which are
turned over to and accepted by the Borough to become part of the Borough
water system, together with a permanent right-of-way, or public easement
so that the Borough may enter upon to excavate, maintain and service
said main.
