Roofs and paved areas, including yards and courts,
shall be drained. Storm drainage shall be conveyed to an adequate
and approved system of stormwater disposal and shall not collect on
the ground or flow upon property of an adjoining owner, sidewalk or
other public place.
Lighting equipment shall be installed and maintained
throughout each unit, public space and building in accordance with
the standards of the New York Board of Fire Underwriters or National
Electric Code to provide adequate illumination for the intended use
of each space. Electric wiring systems shall be connected to an adequate
source of supply. There shall be a switch or other means for controlling
a light in each dwelling unit and rooming unit near the point of entry
to such unit. There shall be adequate illumination in all public spaces
and at each entrance, exit and outdoor steps or stairway of any building.
