All nightclubs, dance halls, banquet halls and
concert halls shall be closed to the public or any private party between
the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. During the time of closure set
forth above, no patrons shall be allowed in such establishments.
The tenant of any leased premises or the owner
of any nonleased premises, regardless of knowledge or presence during
the violation, shall be responsible for compliance with this article.
In addition to these persons and entities, any other persons or their
agents, servants, principals, employees, or patrons who fail to comply
with this article shall also be liable for the penalties set forth
herein.
Any person and/or entity, as set forth above,
violating this article shall be subject to a fine of $1,000 and/or
30 days in jail, or both, for each violation hereto. Any person convicted
for a third time of violating this article shall, in addition to the
fine, be subject to a mandatory period of incarceration in the county
jail for 30 days.
