The Raffles Licensing Law was adopted by referendum to be operative
in the Village of Ridgewood pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-50 et seq.
The Village of Ridgewood is hereby authorized to license bona fide organizations
or associations permitted to be licensed under the Raffles Licensing Law (N.J.S.A.
5:8-50 et seq.) and the regulations adopted thereunder and contained in N.J.A.C.
13:47-1.1.

The Village Clerk of the Village of Ridgewood is hereby designated as
the "issuing authority" pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1 and is authorized and
directed to issue licenses as permitted by law and the regulations adopted
thereunder.
Licenses shall be issued upon compliance with the provisions of the
Act and the regulations hereinabove cited and upon payment of the license
fees set forth therein. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-58, if requested, raffles
may be held, operated and conducted on Sunday when specifically provided in
the license authorized by this chapter and issued by the Village Clerk.
