Pursuant to § 10, Subdivision 4, of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, any police officer or village official listed herein (see Subsections A, B, C and D) is authorized to issue an appearance ticket relating to the enforcement of any statute, local law, code, rule or regulation affecting the public health, safety and welfare of the Village of Potsdam, New York, and its inhabitants.
A. 
The Village Clerk of the Village of Potsdam, New York, is authorized to issue an appearance ticket relating to the enforcement of any statute, local law, code, rule or regulation relating to the licensing of occupations or businesses in the Village of Potsdam, New York.
B. 
The Fire Chief or, in his absence, the Acting Chief is authorized to issue an appearance ticket to enforce any statute, local law, code, rule or regulation relating to fire prevention and safety.
C. 
The Building Inspector is authorized to issue an appearance ticket to enforce any statute, local law, code, rule or regulation relating to health, sanitation, building, zoning and planning.
D. 
The Parking Enforcement Officer is authorized to issue an appearance ticket to enforce parking regulations of the Village of Potsdam.

The appearance ticket shall be in the form prescribed by § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York.
