The maximum speed limit on all highways within the Town of Union is hereby designated as 30 miles per hour except as hereinafter designated:

Construction areas.
(1) 
A linear speed limit of 20 miles per hour is hereby designated in construction areas within the Town of Union.
(2) 
The Highway Superintendent is hereby authorized to undertake the necessary posting of such construction areas.
