The Emergency Management Coordinator shall appoint
an Emergency Management Deputy Coordinator with the approval of the
Mayor. Wherever possible, such Deputy shall be appointed from among
the salaried officers or employees of the municipality.
There is hereby created a Local Emergency Management
Council to be composed of not more than 15 members who shall be appointed
by the Mayor and shall hold office at the will and pleasure of the
Mayor. The Emergency Management Coordinator shall be a member and
shall serve as Chairman of the Emergency Management Service Council.
