The Borough finds that it is in the public interest and the policy of
the State of New Jersey to foster and to promote, by all reasonable means,
the relief from pollution of waters in or bordering the state and to reduce,
and ultimately abate, the menace to the public health resulting from such
pollution.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Sewerage Authorities Law, N.J.S.A.
40:14A-1 et seq., the Township of Neptune Sewerage Authority, a public body

of Bradley Beach on February 13, 1973, as has been and as may be hereafter
amended, is attached hereto by reference as if fully reproduced herein.
The Township of Neptune Sewerage Authority shall have and may exercise,
within the territorial boundaries of the Borough, all or any part of the powers
provided for and conferred upon sewerage authorities by the Sewerage Authorities
Law, as modified by its agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Borough.
