It shall be unlawful to load or unload, open, close or otherwise handle any boxes, crates, containers, building materials, liquids, or to pneumaticly or pump-load or unload bulk materials in liquid, gaseous, powder or pellet form between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day in any business zone which is adjacent to or across the street from any residential zone or in any business zone wherein any type of residential use is a permitted use. This section shall specifically not apply to the delivery of newspapers in bulk or individually, or deliveries consisting only of bread, pastries, rolls or doughnuts, or any delivery of any nature made in an eighteen-foot cargo step van or smaller vehicle.
Any person who violates this article may be subject to a fine of up to $1,000, imprisonment for up to 90 days and/or community service for up to 90 days in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge.
