The terms of the members of the Personnel Board
are fixed as follows: At the time of first appointment, to be effective
from March 1, 1966, one member shall be appointed to serve on the
Board until December 31, 1970. The present members of the Board shall
continue to serve thereon until such time as their respective terms
expire. Each successor member appointed to the Personnel Board shall
be appointed for a term of five years commencing on the first day
of January. The Council shall appoint not fewer than two nor more
than five electors to serve as alternates, each for a term to coincide
with the term of a regular member of the Board.
