The Department of Administrative Services is
hereby created under the authority of Section 1 of Chapter VI of the
Town Charter.
The Department of Administrative Services shall
be headed by a Director of Administrative Services, who shall be appointed
by and responsible to the Town Manager.
The Department of Administrative Services shall
include, unless otherwise directed by the Town Manager, the following
divisions:
A. Information Services and Research.
The Department of Administrative Services shall
be responsible for the performance, subject to Town Manager approval,
of all duties relating to the development and execution of the annual
operating budget and capital planning. Responsibilities shall also
include the provision of data-processing services to all Town agencies
and internal management consulting and analysis.
