Except as otherwise provided herein, all records
and property of the Township are transferred to the department or
division to which the functions, powers and duties are transferred
by this chapter; provided, however, that all of the Township's personnel
records are transferred to the Department of Administration and Finance.
Pension fund membership and rights of officers
and employees shall not be adversely affected by any transfer pursuant
to this chapter. The Business Administrator shall, and if necessary,
the Council shall by ordinance, provide for such records, contribution
controls and other means as will further protect such pension fund
membership and rights.
All ordinances and resolutions adopted before
the effective date of this chapter not inconsistent herewith shall
remain in full force and effect until repealed or amended in accordance
with Section 206 of the OMCL; provided, however, that any ordinance
or resolution found to be inconsistent with the Charter, this chapter
or law shall be considered repealed or amended to comply with the
Charter, this chapter or existing law to the extent of any such inconsistency.
