Pension plans — See Ch. 26.
A. 
The Pension Advisory Board shall consist of five members as follows:
(1) 
One nonuniformed East Norriton Township employee.
(2) 
One member of the East Norriton Township police force.
(3) 
One member of the East Norriton Township Board of Supervisors.
(4) 
The East Norriton Township Manager.
(5) 
The East Norriton Township Solicitor.
B. 
Members shall be appointed annually and shall serve until a replacement member is appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
The Pension Advisory Board is hereby charged with the responsibility of overseeing the administration of pension funds for the Nonuniformed Employees Pension Plan and the Uniformed Employees Pension Plan. To carry out its administrative responsibilities, the functions of the Pension Advisory Board shall include but not be limited to:
A. 
Review of pension applications.
B. 
Investment recommendations.
C. 
Hiring of investment managers.
D. 
Recommendations of any changes in the benefit structure.
E. 
Exchange of information regarding new legislation applicable to pension plans.
F. 
Review of eligibility status of Township's uniformed and nonuniformed employees.
G. 
Recommendations regarding policies and procedures relating to any conflict of interest in a third-party transaction.
The Pension Advisory Board shall meet at such times as may be necessary to perform its functions as stated above, at the discretion of the majority of the members of the Pension Advisory Board, but, in any event, the Pension Advisory Board shall meet at least annually.
