The boundary limits of the Borough of West Conshohocken are hereby established as a zone in which motor vehicles may remain standing without lights, and all highways within such boundary limits are hereby designated as highways where motor vehicles may remain standing without lights.
Wherever a space shall be marked off on any highway for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines bounding such space.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the highways or parts thereof described below except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all highways or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.

A. 
Fire lanes. It shall be unlawful to stop, stand, park a vehicle or otherwise obstruct a designated fire lane. Fire lanes are to be designated by the Fire Chief and the Fire Marshal and clearly posted providing notice that no parking shall be permitted.
B. 
Any vehicle stopping, standing or parking in a fire lane and any other object blocking a fire lane may be removed or towed by the Borough under the direction of a police officer at the expense of the vehicle owner and without liability to the Borough of West Conshohocken.
C. 
The owner of record of any building affected by these provisions shall provide and install signs and road markings designating a fire lane and directing that parking is prohibited. These signs and road markings shall comply with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation regulations regarding signs and roadway markings.
D. 
Any person violating any of the foregoing section shall pay a monetary fine to the Borough of West Conshohocken in the amount of $50.

A. 
Regulation of parking.
(1) 
It shall be unlawful to park on any street or Borough-owned-and-operated parking lot in residential, garden apartment, townhouse or limited commercial zoning districts any vehicle, trailer, boat or watercraft other than a passenger car between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
(2) 
Any vehicle parked in violation of this section may be removed or towed by the Borough under the direction of a police officer at the expense of the vehicle owner without liability to the Borough of West Conshohocken.
(3) 
Any person violating any of the foregoing section shall pay a monetary fine to the Borough of West Conshohocken in the amount of $50.
B. 
Definitions. As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PASSENGER CAR
A motor vehicle, including a motorcycle, designed for carrying no more than 15 passengers, including the driver, and primarily used for the transportation of persons; the term includes motor vehicles which are designed with seats that may be readily removed and reinstalled, but does not include such vehicles if used or maintained primarily for the transportation of property. The term "passenger car" also includes pickup trucks weighing 9,000 pounds or less gross vehicular weight. A passenger car shall not include any bus, motor home or passenger car attached to a trailer of any kind.
TRAILER
A vehicle designed to be towed by a motor vehicle.
TRUCK
A motor vehicle designed, used or maintained primarily for the transportation of property. Pickup trucks weighing 9,000 pounds or less gross vehicular weight shall be deemed passenger cars for the purposes of this section.

No parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
D. 
No parking in front of a public or private driveway.
E. 
No parking within 30 feet of an intersection.
F. 
No motor vehicle of any kind shall be permitted to park at any time in the Borough in a zone designated by the Borough Council, or its designee, as a handicapped parking zone unless the vehicle parked in that handicapped zone is a vehicle authorized to be parked in that handicapped zone by a permit for a handicapped parking zone, issued by the Borough Council, or its designee, for a particular handicapped parking zone.
