This chapter is adopted pursuant to the provisions of § 271,
Subdivision 6, of the New York Town Law.
The Town Board of the Town of Lysander has determined that it
would be in the best interest of the Town to decrease the membership
of the Planning Board for the Town of Lysander.
A.
Following the enactment of this chapter, the membership of the Planning
Board for the Town of Lysander shall be decreased from seven members
to five members.
B.
Terms. The terms of the remaining board members shall be determined
by their date of appointment. The oldest appointment date shall serve
a term of one year commencing January 1, 2021, the next oldest date,
a term of two years, et cetera.
The individual appointed to fill the position of the newly created
sixth Board member position shall initially serve a term of six years.
The individual appointed to fill out the position of the newly created
seventh Board member shall initially serve a term of seven years.
Thereafter, all Planning Board members shall be appointed for full
terms of seven years.
This chapter shall take effect upon filing with the Secretary
of State.
