Whenever a term is used in this Part 1, which
is defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., such term is intended to
have the meaning set forth in the definitions of such term found in
said statute, unless a contrary intention is clearly expressed from
the context of this Part 1.
All sections of the Land Subdivision Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance or any other ordinance of the City of Passaic which contains provisions contrary to the provisions of this Part 1 shall be and are hereby, to the extent of such inconsistency, repealed.
Any application for development submitted before
the effective date of this Part 1, to a Board pursuant to lawful authority,
may be continued at the option of the applicant, and the Board shall
have every power which it possessed before the effective date of this
Part 1 in regard to any such application.
This Part 1 shall be known and may be cited
as the "Land Development Procedures Ordinance of the City of Passaic."
