The owners or lessees of nonpermitted existing pay telephones located
on or over public sidewalks will have a period of 60 days after the effective
date of this chapter to obtain the permits required by this chapter. The city
reserves the right to reject any and all locations submitted for approval
if such location and installation is not in conformance with this chapter.
The City of Passaic reserves the right to reject any and all locations
submitted for approval based upon their existing conformance with this chapter.
If the owner of any telephone shall fail to comply with the provisions
of this chapter, the Business Administrator or his designee shall direct the
removal of such telephone and the confiscation of all property therein.
