[1]The following buildings will be smoke free.
(1) 
The fire station, 7 West Center Street.
(2) 
The recreation building, Clinton Street.
(3) 
The highway garage and municipal offices, Cemetery Street.
(4) 
The hallways and utility room of the Hendricks House, 3 Main Street.

B. 
Smoking will be allowed in all municipally-owned vehicles, unless all occupants agree to prohibit smoking.
Conflicts should be brought to the attention of the appropriate supervisory personnel. Employees may also file a formal complaint with the Cortland County Health Department.

Copies of these rules will be posted and distributed to all employees and to all prospective employees upon request.
A. 
The Highway Foreman, Water/Sewer Foreman and Fire Chief shall be designated agents to assist in the enforcement of this policy.
B. 
Employees found smoking outside of designated smoking areas will be considered in violation of this policy and may be subject to penalties.

This policy may be amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of the Village of McGraw. All amendments shall be in conformance with New York State law, and employees will be notified accordingly.
