Borough of Berlin, NJ Article II Licenses and License Fees

§ 82-7 Number of licenses permitted.

The number of plenary retail consumption licenses outstanding in the Borough of Berlin at the same time shall not exceed three in number, and the number of plenary retail distribution licenses outstanding in the Borough of Berlin at the same time shall not exceed one in number; provided, however, that this shall not prevent the renewal of such licenses outstanding upon the adoption of this article or the transfer of such licenses and the renewal of such licenses so transferred.

§ 82-8 Exception.

Nothing contained in § 82-7 of this article shall prevent the issuance of a new license to a person who surrenders his license within 30 days prior to or any time subsequent to induction into the military service of the United States; provided, however, that such persons shall file their application for a new license within four months from completion of military service.

§ 82-9 Fees of plenary retail consumption and distribution licenses.

The fees to be paid to the Borough of Berlin for the following Class C alcoholic beverage licenses as defined by law are hereby fixed and determined as follows:

A. Plenary retail consumption licenses: $1,944 per annum.

B. Plenary retail distribution licenses: $1,944 per annum.

§ 82-10 Fee for club license.

The annual fee for a Class C alcoholic beverage license as authorized by law and designated as a club license shall be $100.
