The use of any motor vehicle on any beach in the town is prohibited unless under claim of riparian rights from June 1 through September 1.
As used in this Article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MOTOR VEHICLE
Any automobile, motorcycle, motorscooter, minibike, motorbike, all-terrain vehicle or any transportation device equipped with an internal-combustion engine or electric motor, except a powered invalid chair, any vehicle used to launch and recover boats or clean the beach or construction and utility vehicles that may be used to do necessary work on the beach.
A violation of this Article may be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not more than fifteen days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
