Pursuant to the authority under § 7 of the General Business
Law of New York State, notwithstanding the provisions of said section, it
shall be lawful to conduct, witness, participate or engage in any form of
public sports, exercises or shows, auto races, goKart races, etc., which are
conducted or engaged in, in the Town of Brant, New York, primarily for the
entertainment of spectators not specifically prohibited by any provision of
law, on the first day of the week after 1:05 p.m., to witness which the public
is invited or an admission fee is charged either directly or indirectly, provided
that a permit is first obtained upon application to the Code Enforcement Officer
of the Town of Brant, New York.
A violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable by
a fine of $50.
