Editor's Note: Former § 70-26, Pit bull dogs, was
repealed 2-11-2014 by Ord. No. 3104.1.
The keeping of any undomesticated animal or
any dangerous domesticated animals, including but not limited to dogs
or cats, is hereby prohibited. For purposes of this section, any animal
with a known history of biting or attacking any human being or with
any known propensity to bite or attack any human being is a dangerous
animal, whether domesticated or not.
A.
Any person who shall violate § 70-26 of this article[1] shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a
fine of $300 and/or to undergo imprisonment for a term not to exceed
90 days. Each day that a violation of this article continues shall
constitute a separate offense.

B.
Any person who shall violate § 70-27 of this article shall, upon conviction thereof for a first offense, be sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and, upon a second or greater conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $300 and/or to undergo imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
