The erection, use or occupancy of automobile trailers or mobile homes or of any vehicle or structure designed or constructed in such manner as will permit occupancy thereof as sleeping quarters or living quarters or for the conduct of any business, profession, occupation or trade and so designed that it may be moved on the highways or City streets, propelled or drawn by its own or other motive power, is hereby prohibited in the City of Bradford, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and County of McKean.

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TEMPORARY
A period of time not in excess of two years, but nothing herein contained shall prevent reapplications for continued use of the temporary facilities for additional periods of time.

Mobile homes may be used for the purpose of a temporary relocation housing resource for persons displaced by public improvement programs sponsored by the City of Bradford, provided that City Council specifically approves, by resolution, the site of the use and the type of housing provided for the temporary use upon application of the agency providing the temporary relocation housing resource.

Any person, partnership, firm, company, corporation, tenant, owner or his or its agents violating any provision of this chapter commits a summary offense and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 or to imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
