A. 
No person shall maliciously, willfully or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or otherwise tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment which is part of the Village sanitary system. Any person violating this provision shall, upon conviction, be fined an amount not exceeding $250 or be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both, for each such violation. Such persons shall also be liable to the Village for any expense, loss or damage occasioned by reason of such violation.

B. 
Except as may otherwise be provided in this Part 2, any person violating any provision of this Part 2 shall, upon conviction, be fined an amount not exceeding $250 or be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both, for each such violation. When any such violation shall be continuous for more than one day, each 24 hours thereof shall constitute a separate, distinct and additional violation.

C. 
Any person violating any provision of this Part 2 shall be responsible in money damages for injury to the sewer system or expenses caused to the Village by such violation. The money may be collected by civil action in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Obedience to this Part 2 may also be enforced by injunction.
