No person shall knowingly or wantonly operate
or cause to be operated any device, apparatus or instrument of any
kind whatsoever within the city which shall cause reasonably preventable
electrical or radio interference to the Rahway police radio system.
This article shall not be held or construed
to affect any transmitter, broadcasting or beacon station duly licensed
by the Federal Communications Commission.
Any person who violates any provision of this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not
exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days,
or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day
during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
