Section 1. The purpose of this chapter is to amend Article Six, (now Part 6 of Chapter 140 of the Code of the Township of Wall) Affordable Housing Regulations, as consolidated by Ordinance 27-1995 adopted October 27, 1995, as follows:
A. To implement the Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan of the Township of Wall as approved by the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey in conjunction with Docket No. L-051262-84, Cove Industries, Ltd. v. Wall Township, and related Mount Laurel cases, by His Honor Eugene D. Serpentelli, A.J.S.C. on February 17, 1998.
B. To create a new ML-13SC Mount Laurel Senior Citizen District to memorialize the approval and construction of the twenty-six-unit Colfax Senior Citizen Apartments approved by the Board of Adjustment on December 11, 1991, and constructed in 1992 as a 100% affordable senior rental apartment development and to amend the Zoning Map to include the ML-13SC Zone at the intersection of Belmar Boulevard and New Bedford Road.
C. To revise Article Six as amended through Ordinance 2-97 adopted on February 2, 1997, with the revisions contained herein into an updated "Article Six — Affordable Housing Regulations," attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. This ordinance does not change the requirements and responsibilities contemplated by those portions of the Housing Plan Element and Fair-Share Plan approved on September 24, 1990, and the amendments thereto approved to date by His Honor Eugene D. Serpentelli, A.J.S.C. and incorporated herein.
