[Adopted 9-23-1976 as Sec.
2-11 of the Charter and Revised Ordinances]
The Board of Aldermen may appoint a Pound Keeper, who shall hold office
during the term of the Board making such appointments unless removed for cause,
of which cause such Board of Aldermen shall be the sole judge. Such Pound
Keeper shall have the same authority and be entitled to the same fees as may
be provided by the general statutes for pound keepers.
