A.
The drinking of any intoxicating liquor or any fermented
malt beverage or the possession of any open container which contains an intoxicating
liquor or fermented malt beverage is prohibited on any athletic field (or
any parcel of land adjoining any athletic field) or any parking lot contiguous
to any athletic field owned by the City of Derby. Specifically excluded, however,
from this article is the area known as the "Coon Hollow Picnic Grove," located
off Nutmeg Avenue.
B.
The drinking of any intoxicating liquor or any fermented
malt beverage is prohibited on any public sidewalk or street.
Anyone violating any provision of this article shall be fined $25 for
the first offense and $50 for every subsequent offense, and a separate offense
shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs
or continues.
