[Adopted 11-16-1964 by Ord. No. 452 as
Ch. 2, Art. II, of the 1964 Code]
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-3, the Board of Health
of the borough shall consist of not less than five nor more than seven
members.
The members of the Board of Health shall be
appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Borough Council.
All appointments to the Board of Health shall
be for a term of three years commencing on the first day of January.
The terms of the members of the Board shall be so arranged that the
terms of not more than three members shall expire in any one year.
Appointments to fill vacancies in the Board
of Health shall be made by the Mayor and confirmed by the Borough
Council, but shall be for the unexpired portion of the term only.
