A. 
General provisions. The purpose of this section is to establish policies and procedures for the collection and distribution of fees associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor.
B. 
General regulations.
(1) 
Requirement to pay fees.
(a) 
Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor of the Borough of Haddonfield shall remit a service fee of $200 to be paid to the Borough of Haddonfield.
(b) 
The Mayor or Deputy Mayor may determine, at his or her discretion, to waive payment of the service fee.
(2) 
Payment and disbursement of fees.
(a) 
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by cash or check, payable to the Borough of Haddonfield. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Borough's current fund.
(b) 
Disbursement of fees. Fees for service may be disbursed to the Mayor or Deputy Mayor through the appropriate budget line item and with appropriate authorization.
