A. 
Whereas, the County of York, Pennsylvania is required to adopt an annual budget following the procedures of the County Code, 16 P.S. Section 1782; and
B. 
Whereas, the County of York, Pennsylvania presented its proposed 2004 Budget on December 3, 2003; and
C. 
Whereas, the County of York, Pennsylvania advertised and extended the public inspection process until January 14, 2004; and
D. 
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners desire to reopen the uncompleted 2004 budget process for the purpose of adopting the 2004 budgets on or before February 15, 2004, in accordance with the provisions of the County Code, 16 P.S. Section 1782.1.
The 2004 budgets are adopted as proposed, representing 4.2 mills of real estate tax, as follows:

The 2004 budgets be reopened for the purpose of reviewing the budgets to determine if they should be amended.
If the 2004 budgets are amended, the Administrator/Chief Clerk is authorized to provide a minimum of 10 days advertised public notice prior to Board action.
If the 2004 budgets are amended, the amended 2004 budgets shall be adopted on or before February 15, 2004.
