The position of Confidential Administrative Clerk is hereby created within the Township of Hillside's Department of Police to perform the duties as set forth in the attached Exhibit A New Jersey Civil Service Commission job description along with the related work set forth in, but not limited to, the attached Exhibit B, and which is otherwise subject to New Jersey civil service rules and regulations.[1]

This position shall be staffed on a part-time basis and paid in an amount and manner as will be set forth in a separate ordinance of the Township Council, without the receipt of any further benefits or remuneration of any kind, for total hours not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.
The Department's table of organization shall be amended in accordance with this article to reflect the position of Confidential Administrative Clerk, which position shall report directly to, and be under the direct supervision of, the Chief of Police.
