Whenever in this Code or in any ordinance of the Borough
any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an
offense or whenever in such Code or ordinance the doing of any act
is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful
and no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any
provision of this Code or ordinance shall be punishable by a fine
not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days,
or by a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, in the
discretion of the Municipal Court. The minimum fine for the violation
of any provision of this Code or ordinance shall be a fine of $100,
unless specifically stated to the contrary within this Code.

In addition to the penalties hereinabove provided,
any condition caused or permitted to exist in violation of any of
the provisions of this Code or any ordinance shall be deemed a public
nuisance and may be, by the Borough, abated as provided by law, and
each day that such condition continues shall be regarded as a new
and separate offense.
The suspension or revocation of any license, permit,
certificate or other privilege conferred by the Borough shall not
be regarded as a penalty for the purposes of this Code but shall be
in addition thereto.
