Housing Code — See Ch. 47.
The Borough of Rutherford desires to participate in the area of operations
of the Housing Authority of Bergen County throughout its territorial boundary
and the jurisdiction of its Mayor and Council for the purpose of alleviating
the shortage of safe and sanitary housing for low-income senior citizens.
The Borough of Rutherford does hereby consent to its inclusion in the
area of operation of the Housing Authority of Bergen County, as set forth
in this chapter.
The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified
copy of this chapter with the Commissioner of the State Department of Conservation
and Economic Development and with the Secretary of the Housing Authority of
Bergen County.
This chapter shall be immediately effective upon proper passage and
due publication as prescribed by law.
