Borough of Rutherford, NJ Chapter 61A Municipal Property, Sale of

§ 61A-1 Open public sales at auction.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12-13(a), the Borough of Rutherford may sell real property, capital improvements or personal property owned by it, or any interests held therein, by open public sale at auction to the highest bidder, in accordance with the requirements of the statute, and in accordance with any additional requirements set by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Rutherford.

§ 61A-2 Private sales.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12-13(b) and (c), the Borough of Rutherford may sell any real property, capital improvements, or personal property owned by it, or any interests held therein, by private sale, in accordance with the requirements of the statutes, and in accordance with any additional requirements set by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Rutherford.
