A.
The four-way stop intersection of Oak Shade Road and Indian Mills
Road is designated as the approved intersection for the solicitation
of charitable contributions.
B.
Under this section, no more than two events for the solicitation
of charitable contributions may occur per month, and no more than
12 events for solicitation of charitable contributions may occur per
year.

Any charitable organization intending to solicit contributions
on a public roadway in Shamong Township must:
A.
Request permission from the Township Committee for no more than two
events per year, which permission may be granted or denied by motion
of the Township Committee;
B.
Provide proof of insurance naming the Township of Shamong as an additional
insured;
C.
Execute a hold harmless agreement in favor of the Township of Shamong
on a form to be established by the Township Administrator and kept
on file with the Township Clerk;
D.
Certify
that all participants in the coin drop that will be within the right-of-way
are at least 18 years of age or older; and
E.
Abide by the restrictions and regulations of this article.

Any person, firm, corporation, association or legal party whatsoever who or which shall violate, or authorize or procure a violation, or cause to be violated, any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, § 1-15, governing general penalty provisions.
