Editor's Note: L.L. No. 11-2020, adopted 11-10-2020, terminated
the Village Justice position which was up for election on 3-16-2021,
the expiration date of the term of that Village Justice position.
The local law provided that upon the effective date of the abolishment
of the position, an Acting Village Justice will be appointed by the
Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, pursuant
to Village Law § 3-301, Subdivision (3). The local law also
provided that the remaining Village Justice position will continue.
There are hereby created the offices of Village
Justice and Acting Village Justice.
The term of the Village Justice shall be as
set forth in the Village Law.
