Editor’s Note: This local law also repealed former Ch. 90, Building Code Administration, adopted 1-3-2007 by L.L. No. 2-2007.
This chapter is to provide for the administration of enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (Uniform Code) by the County of Lewis and that the Village of Lowville does hereby opt of out enforcement of the same.
The Village of Lowville hereby elects not to enforce or administer the Uniform Code, but instead defers such enforcement power to the County of Lewis.
