No person shall play ball, knock or drive any ball or fly any kite or play any sport in any public street or park in the Village, other than such park or parks as may be maintained by the Village or the school authorities for playground purposes, or coast or slide down or upon any sidewalk or in any street upon any sled, sleigh, cart, coaster or board without permission from the Board of Trustees of the Village evidenced by a written permit signed by the Mayor of the Village.

There shall be a penalty not to exceed $250 per day or a term of imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, for each violation of the provisions of this chapter.
