[Derived from Sec. 346 of Ch. VI of the Charter and Ordinances,
1974]
Wherever it is provided by any ordinance of the City of Buffalo
that the holder of any license or permit thereunder may apply to any
City license or permit officer or authority for renewal of the same
within a certain period or within a certain period without examination
as to his or her personal qualifications, such period for the making
of such application for renewal shall be extended up to and including
the expiration of six months after the honorable discharge or release
from said armed forces or branch or auxiliary thereof of any member
of the same who was a holder of any such license or permit at the
time he or she entered such armed forces.
This article shall not be deemed to apply to any license or
permit issued pursuant to any state or local law.
