The following charges for services by the Village Water Department
of the Village of Greenwood Lake are established:
A.
For making an aboveground service tap on aboveground main and installing
service pipe: as set forth by resolution made from time to time by
the Village Board of Trustees.

B.
For making a three-fourths tap on the main connecting service pipe
and installing curb valve: as set forth by resolution made from time
to time by the Village Board of Trustees.

C.
For making a one-inch tap on the main connecting service pipe and

D.
Service taps in excess of one inch shall be installed only upon the
consent of the Village Board and at such price as shall be agreed
upon.
E.
Shutting off water and meter removal.

F.
Turning on water and meter installation.

G.
For thawing out frozen lines, per man-hour: as set forth by resolution
made from time to time by the Village Board of Trustees.

H.
Where the curb box valve and/or service pipe has been covered over by the owner with cement, blacktopping and the like or by any obstacle such as a stone wall, building or other structure requiring the Water Department to cut around, remove or cut through such obstacle in any way to make any required shutoff of the water supply to the property for any purpose, the cost for such additional service shall be billed to the owner on the basis of a charge as set forth by resolution made from time to time by the Village Board of Trustees per man-hour. In addition, where such work requires the use of powered mechanical equipment, such as a backhoe, bulldozer and the like, the cost of the use of such equipment shall be billed to the owner at a per-hour charge as set forth by resolution made from time to time by the Village Board of Trustees for said equipment's use. All such charges are due within 30 days from the billing date and, if unpaid, shall be subject to the same penalties as aforestated for unpaid water charges under § 114-23A through C.

I.
An assessment to defray the expense to the Village for the costs
of construction and maintenance of the filtration plant, as set forth
by resolution made from time to time by the Village Board of Trustees.

Service calls outside of the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. weekends and holidays,
that are not connected to malfunction of the Water Department or service
shall be billed to the owner on the basis of a charge per man-hour
or fraction thereof as set forth by resolution made from to time by
the Village Board of Trustees. On arrival on such service calls, the
Superintendent or any duly authorized employee of the Village water
supply system shall present to the owner, tenant or his representative
a receipt to be signed acknowledging the arrival and time of arrival
of said person and agreeing that said service charges shall be accepted
for the service to be performed.
