§ 139-64 Application fee; waiver; disposition of funds.

All individuals applying for representation by the Township Public Defender shall pay an application fee of not more than $50. The Municipal Court Judge may waive any required application fee, in whole or in part, if the Municipal Court Judge determines in his/her discretion that the application fee represents an unreasonable burden upon the individual seeking representation. All application fees paid to the Court by individuals seeking representation by the Township Public Defender shall be turned over to the Township general treasury.
