The Treasurer and his Assistant shall be authorized by the Council
to sign checks of the Council drawn on Council bank accounts or drafts
on the Town of Great Barrington as depository of Council funds. They
shall be required to give bond for the faithful discharge of their
duties in such sums and with surety as the Council may determine,
the expense of such bonding to be paid by the Council.
