A. 
The Borough of High Bridge hereby agrees to become a member of the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund for a period commencing upon:
(1) 
The approval of the admission of the Borough of High Bridge by the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund Commissioners or Executive Committee, as appropriate; and
(2) 
The approval of the admission of the Borough of High Bridge into the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund by the Commissioner of Insurance.
B. 
The Borough of High Bridge participation in the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund shall be for the purpose of providing primary insurance coverage for workers' compensation on a self-insured basis, in accordance with the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund's risk management and bylaws.
The bylaws of the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund are hereby adopted and approved by the Borough of High Bridge as the same have been approved by the Department of Insurance.
The Mayor and Clerk of the Borough of High Bridge or such other appropriate administrative officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a written agreement signifying application for a membership in the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund and to execute such other agreements, including but not limited to an indemnity and trust agreement, in order to implement membership in the Borough of High Bridge in the Statewide Workers' Compensation Fund.
