GENERAL REFERENCES

The Borough of High Bridge, through its appropriate governmental officials, is hereby authorized to enter into and execute the intermunicipal agreement for mutual police, fire and rescue/emergency aid with any other Hunterdon Country participating municipality, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq.,[1] wherein the Borough of High Bridge, through its Chief of Police, shall be authorized to provide police assistance, through its Fire Chief, shall be authorized to provide fire assistance, through its Emergency Squad Captain, shall be authorized to provide emergency and rescue assistance, and through its Office of Emergency Management, to participating municipalities in accordance with the terms and conditions of the intermunicipal agreement for mutual police, fire and emergency aid.

Contracts will be executed between the Borough of High Bridge and any other Hunterdon County municipality participating in this agreement which has also adopted an ordinance authorizing execution of this agreement.
A copy of the municipal aid agreement will be available for public inspection at the High Bridge Municipal Building, Borough Clerk's Office, 71 Main Street, High Bridge, New Jersey.[1]
